Please direct your problems related to other software to the 
appropriate email list for that software.  The snort-users mailing list 
is for problems related to snort.  Libnids is written and maintained by 
a separate group of individuals.

Problems related to libnids should be sent to libnids email lists, 
problems related to libnet should be sent to libnet email lists.
