Correct way to update the pig

Hi All,

    I'm running snort 2.1.2 and would like to know what the method used to update snort to say version 2.1.3, is it
as simple as grabbing new tarball, unpack/config/compile (backing up all local rulesets and your current snort.conf
of course)?
