ISS vs Snort

Hello everyone

I want go get your advice.  

I used to work at ISS and now I work with Snort. 
Based on everyone's opinion, I would like to know,
which signature class to you think is best?

And do you really think they are the same or
different?

No flames please.  I just want to see other people`s
opinions.
