RE: very odd !

I've been using the "-c PATH" option, but apparently using it incorrectly.  I thought it was supposed to be the path to 
the rules directory.  I'll try telling snort where to go directly and see what happens.  Thanks for your help guys!

Are you starting Snort with the -c /path/to/snort.conf option?
