Arif,

The Applied Watch Command Center is unique in that it offers an
enterprise face-lift to open source Snort that runs on virtually ANY
Operating System platform. The Dashboard is written in Java and
therefore can run on Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux.

Because we don't ship the Snort binary, you are able to download and use
the version from snort.org. You simply tell the Agent where the Snort
binary is located and it manages the Snort process from there. We have a
unique Snort rule download wizard, policy manager for rules, and an
interface to managing Nessus vulnerability scans. Snort Rules can be
created in seconds through our pull down lists and predefined rule
fields as well as manually through the Advanced Editor window. A
heartbeat monitor shows you all of your Snort sensors you have deployed
and whether or not the Agent and Snort process is up/down. The AWCC also
boasts email-based alerting and enterprise reporting.

You can download the Applied Watch Command Center Agent, Server, and
Dashboard from http://www.appliedwatch.com. This is of course a
commercial solution.

The new version 3.2 will be released on the 15th.

I have been looking around to find any Windows-based front ends for the
current Snort version 2.4.3.

Could you please suggest any possible front-end solutions, both free and
commercial?

Thank you for your suggestions.
