Snort sensor with ssl/mysql connection

I have the need to setup multiple sensors now at a number of remote
locations and log ship all alerts back to a central location using mysql
secured with ssl.  Anything special I need to do with Snort in order to
accomplish this.  I'll be running Ubuntu 8.04/MySQL 5.x/Snort 2.8.x if that
matters.
