you should have resisted.  I just don't understand why it's so important for
you or anyone to degrade the efforts of any user in this list, especially

I can't resist.  Putting Snort on Windows is like putting a Ferrari engine
in a Volkwagon Golf.  It might go really fast, but you'll have no control
