problem with pulledpork

Hi,

I am trying to download the latest snort sigs with pulledpork and I get
the following error:

Checking latest MD5 for snortrules-snapshot-2912.tar.gz....
        Error 500 when fetching
https://www.snort.org/reg-rules/snortrules-snapshot-2912.tar.gz.md5 at
./pulledpork.pl line 453

I've also tried downloading the rules using wget and I get the following
error:

Connecting to 10.254.72.3:8080... connected.
ERROR: Certificate verification error for www.snort.org: unable to get
local issuer certificate
ERROR: certificate common name `snort.org' doesn't match requested host
name `www.snort.org'.
To connect to www.snort.org insecurely, use `--no-check-certificate'.
Unable to establish SSL connection.
