ipv6 support is totally complete, and compiled in by default starting in Snort 2.9.4.0.

As far as alerting goes, Snort writes to unified2, the barnyard2 folks pick up the schema from there.

Dear Developers,

I am working with snort for enabling support to 6LoWPAN protocol.
which this requires complete IPv6 support. Hence would like to know
whether IPv6 support is complete in Snort ?

Also, the complete tool chain of alerts-> unified2-> banyard2->
database schema ( which currently doesn't support IPv6) .. is not
complete.

If it has complete support to Ipv6:
-> Is it possible to get the IPv6 alerts directly into mysql ? I
read in some blog that, snort had something like that before v.2.9.3
with a script ? v2.9.3,8 (

Thank you!
