Hi waldo kitty,

I have a network, it's small
Change a design a network that have had original is not easy.
So i can place the Snort as below?

                                                                 +->switch
1....switch n -+> workstations
                                                                 |
                                                                 |
                                                                 |
Router -+->Firewall-+-> Core Switch(Vlans)-+> Server farm
                                                                 |
                                                                 |
                                                                 +-> Snort


*Or*
                                                                 +->switch
1....switch n -+> workstations
                                                                 |
                                                                 |
                                                                 |
Router -+->Firewall-+-> Core Switch(Vlans)-+> Server farm
                                 |
                                 |
                                 +-> Snort


Because my firewall is not strong enough to capture all traffic in, out and
warning.

Any help is appreciated
