To answer your first question: Not necessarily. Those log files may have been generated while you are testing every
time your run Snort.Your second question: The warnings mean that some rules' flowbits are not "resolved". You can use
PulledPork to resolve the flowbits. I am not familiar with manual method unless you disbale the rules with these
flowbits.Third question: Ensure you are actually getting packets on the interface Snort listens to. May be take a
capture and run it through Snort and see what happens.
P.S.: Please keep the communication on the list. It is a mutual benefit.

So basically you mean that it's a snort logs problem which means that snort set up incorrecly?
Well that's what I have so far with snort:
when I try to do:

Snort was installed from Homebrew (so I believe that means from package)
I've downloaded it from that link (https://www.snort.org/configurations) and now I'm getting this:

So there are no waldo file for some reason((( Any ideas?

Was Snort installed from a package or source? If from source, then this files exists under /etc after you untar the
source. Verify first that the files does not exist in a different directory. If still not found, you can download it
from here: https://www.snort.org/configurations
