Requiring at least TLS 1.2 for Rules Updates

Hey, is tomorrow still the go time for the new security policy enforcing TLS 1.2 and 1.3 for connecting to the snort 
API ? Any possible extensions considering that the new PCI standard won't be effective till end of june?
