have you tried like above? it should come from the email address you subscribed 
to the list with... otherwise i would hazard a guess that you would get a 
response stating that the address is not registered to the list... in that case, 
another remedy is needed (eg: contacting your HR to remove you if they signed 
you up via a group alias)...
