Porting Snort3 to Windows

Hello, In the Snort3 GitHub there are several issues raised and closed in regards to a port to Windows, but seems this activity hasn't yet come into the publicly visible branches. My company has previously worked with the Snort2 codebase to build and deliver it for the Windows platforms as part of our endpoint security product. We intend to perform similar work for Snort3, and would like to collaborate on this effort with the Snort3 project team to make our changes available to the wider community. We have some ideas about how to accomplish it with modifications to the existing Snort3 codebase, and created a functional prototype (enough to run basic stuff) to explore different approaches. We will be doing this work ourselves anyways, and we'd value the opportunity to share. Can someone from the Snort3 project leadership reach out to me to discuss how this could work most effectively (or let me know this isn't of interest to the project at this time). Thanks, Bob Cook Sophos
