Use tcpdump to capture to a file and feed those to Ethereal 
(http://www.ethereal.com). Or you could use Ethereal directly instead of 
tcpdump; it runs on HP-UX as well.

Free, too, which Sniffer most certainly isn't.

Not only that, it is better in almost every way. More complete, for sure, 
in terms of protocol dissection.
