help to build tcpdump with ipv6

Hello all,



I tried tcpdump configuration for enabling ipv6 with c and gcc on HP-UX itanium 
processor, it gives error as follows.

# ./configure --enable-ipv6
:
checking whether to enable ipv6... yes
checking ipv6 stack type... linux-libinet6
You do not have inet6 library, using libc
checking for library containing getaddrinfo... none required
checking getaddrinfo bug... buggy
Fatal: You must get working getaddrinfo() function.
       or you can specify "--disable-ipv6".


Plae help to avoid this error? I need to build tcpdump with --enable-ipv6.

Note: Do we need libpcap library(that too compiled with ipv6) to build tcpdump with 
ipv6.

plz help me asap.
