Does "like hcidump" mean the first byte of the data is a code for the  
type of packet, i.e.:

        1 - HCI command
        2 - ACL data
        3 - SCO data
        4 - HCI event

(possibly with a direction flag) followed by the appropriate type of  
HCI packet?
