Storing captured packets to databse

Hello there,
           I am a new comer to libpcap library and I am currently using
libpcap to capture tcp/ip packets. But I am facing problems
when I try to store them in my mysql database after I have
retrieved required data from them, there is loss of packet data
or storing of invalid data occurs. Any ideas. Thanks in
advance.
