June 2025
=========

The accounted activities in June stand for 41:55 working hours and 10
commits (1 in libpcap, 2 in tcpdump, 7 in tcpdump-htdocs).

One attempted direction of development work was progressing an earlier
unfinished prototype of optimized masked comparisons in libpcap,
another was modernisation of the LWAPP decoder in tcpdump; both turned
out way more complicated than expected and have not been completed yet.

Other accounted activities include:
* reinstating linux-mips in the data centre,
* upgrading linux-aarch64 Alpine Linux from 3.21 to 3.22 (Clang from
  19.1 to 20.1),
* upgrading openbsd-mips64 OpenBSD from 7.6 to 7.7 (Clang from 17.0 to
  19.1),
* installation of routine updates on various hosts, and
* merging a pull request and commenting on a few bug reports and
  mailing list posts.
