remote command execution in multiple languages

Is there a document out there that tells how to launch  a shell from the 
server using multiple languages.  I think this could be really useful for 
developing exploits(i have an exploit which needs it for it to be good 
enough to send to security focus).  just something that shows how to send a 
dos/xterm shell everytime a site is opened, and something that shows how to 
do it in multiple languages, like vbscript, php, or asp.
