I believe what you would be looking for would be a local proxy-type util. My
2 favorite ones are Web Sleuth
(http://www.sandsprite.com/Sleuth/download.html) and older one called
Mini-Browser, which is my fav for quick and easy http modification. The site
for mini-browser doesn't seem to have it for d/l anymore, so I placed an
archived version here: http://www.jjhicks.com/tools/MiniBrowser.zip.

cheers,

Subject: Security tool for monitoring HTTP headers?

Does anyone know of a security tool for modifying HTTP
headers directly?
For example if I wanted to verify that there was proper input
validation
against some of the data in a POST request, does a tool besides Telnet
exist? I was considering creating one but I don't want to
duplicate someone
else's work.

Thanks,

-P
