Hi Sathya, What version of WinPcap are you using? There is a bug in WinPcap 4.1beta5 http://www.winpcap.org/pipermail/winpcap-users/2009-August/003397.html http://www.winpcap.org/misc/changelog.htm Best regards Joan On Sun, 14 Feb 2010 11:26:01 -0800 Sathya Anandan wrote:
Hi,
I tried to connect remote system(Winpcap running) through remote interface
in the capture options. I gave the remote IP address and default port
number, it's not working.
I tried the following option too but its not working. Inside Wireshark
typed the following into the *Interface* field of the *Capture
Options*dialog box:
rpcap://[1.2.3.4]/\Device\NPF_{12345678-1234-1234-1234-1234567890AB}
where [1.2.3.4] is remote IP address and
Device\NPF_{12345678-1234-1234-1234-1234567890AB} is the remote system
adapter interface
I kindly request to help if someone is aware of this problem.
With Regards,
Sathya
