Hi,
What is correct way to recognize that capture processing with tap was finished? There isn't one, unfortunately. We'd have to change the tap mechanism to introduce a "we're done processing packets" callback to provide that.
should I try to do so?
I found at least two places where it should be useful:
1) my case, of course :-)
2) sharkd (see sharkd_session.c, taps_free)
Therefore I think it would be useful.
Best regards,
Jirka Novak
