Since no one else has mentioned TrendMicro yet, I will plug it. We used Trend on the Desktops and Servers for a medium sized school district for awhile and that seemed to work pretty well. They have recently partnered with Cisco to provide some intresting tools on the switch side, supposedly to confirm that machines could only access the net with the latest AV updates. -----Original Message----- From: Shawn Wall [mailto:sjwall () shaw ca] Sent: Monday, February 07, 2005 5:08 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Antivirus Comparison Hi All. For years I've been using Norton antivirus products but lately I'm hearing that Norton is no longer the de facto antivirus solution. I'm interested in hearing what antivirus products are considered to be the best for both enterprise and private use. As always, all comments are welcome. Thanks. shawn
