Can you configure a cisco ASA firewall to work in transparent proxy
mode?

Hi,

If you are thinking about only content filtering and IPS then its
perfact idea to deploy firewall in bridge mode. Its so easy to deploy in
transparent mode.
But their are some features which you can't use in transparent mode like
VPN, ISP failover & Load balancing, which might be required in future.
