Hi,

If you are thinking about only content filtering and IPS then its perfact idea to deploy firewall in bridge mode.Its so 
easy to deploy in transparent mode.
But their are some features which you can't use in transparent mode like VPN, ISP failover & Load balancing,which might 
be required in future.
