Customers who dropped off payment or account information in the blue
payment box between Friday, June 21 and Sunday, June 23 are asked to
contact our office for alternative payment arrangements (Customer
Service 1-877-270-3938.)

Customers who used the payment box are encouraged to place stop
payment on the cheque.

It is unknown the value of the stolen payments and amount of customer
information (name, address, account number, customer information found
on cheque) that was in the blue box at the time of the theft.

If you suspect your personal information has been used without your
knowledge, here’s what you can do:

• Keep a record of correspondence and conversations about clearing
your name and credit.

• Contact your creditors and/or financial institutions if your bank
card, credit card or identification have been used or suspected to be
stolen. How will you know if information has been used or stolen?

You may notice on your bank statement, online activity or passbook
transactions that you have not performed or authorized.

You may receive credit card statements or other bills in your name
that do not belong to you. You may notice mail that is not yours but
in your name or you may not receive all of your mail. A collection
agency may inform you that they are collecting for a defaulted account
established in your name, but you have no knowledge of the account.

• If any of your information has been misused, file a report with police.

• Put a fraud alert on your credit report by contacting the credit
bureaus listed. Even if you do not find any suspicious activity on
your credit reports, it is recommended to check your credit reports
periodically which can help you spot problems and address them
quickly.
