Packet Traversal - How far?

Wizards: This may be a fairly trivial question, and if so I apologise, but does anyone know of any tool or strategy for accomplishing the following? The scenario: User ->Router (with ACLS)->Firewall->Router (with ACLS) ->Firewall->Router (with ACLS) -> Application Server The problem: User tries to connect to Application Server and connections timeout. Only part of the infrastructure is housed internally, therefore, cannot check rules/logs for all devices. Port scanner won't help as something is discarding packets (rather than rejecting them). Does anyone know whether there is an implementation (preferably Win32 [albeit cygwin+winpcap]) of Traceroute that uses TCP? --Gary; ********************************************************************** Information contained herein is the sole responsibility of the Individual sending the message.
