I'm not sure I'm following the lists' dislikes of this. You're okay
with plagiarism and copyright infringement or you think they're going
too far?

I'm all for allowing a person to backup a file or a music CD, but
since when is Shareaza (and its ilk) backup software? That seemed to
be the issue with this woman who has recently been fined for
piracy...going so far as trying to swap HDs to throw them off.
