The older I get , the fewer methods of communication I choose to use. It's
information overload. Multiple different Slack instances, Signal, WhatsApp,
emails, IRC , it's just overload. It's enough work sorting through the
things I *HAVE* to pay attention to. Trying to keep up on all the others
that I don't is basically impossible.

I've been dropping more and more things, like the NANOG Discord. It was a
good idea, but I find no value in it, so I moved on. For most things at
this point a text/imessage/WhatsApp works best if I need to get in touch
with someone.
