Sadly your view of the "internet" is as small as a pea. IRC doesn't get people paid and things like salesforce being 
down produce logistical problems causing trucks not to move, delivering your goods to stores leaving you sitting there 
on IRC spreading peanut butter on whatever bread you have left with a plastic knife until it all clears up.
