The_legacy_ systems will be the last ones using IPv4. Which means no updates. Which means no CLAT software. If you want CLAT in those configurations, it'll have to be external. In the CPE router.
The current legacy systems will have issues using latest technology anyway. The operators of them run them to use legacy software/hardware. In case they need they will build bridges, but you do not want to have legacy (EoS) machines connected to the public internet.
