Compile error on netbsd

All,

Got an interesting compile error on a NetBSD5 snapshot:
tcpip.cc: In function 'interface_info* getinterfaces_siocgifconf(int*)':
tcpip.cc:2948: error: pointer of type 'void *' used in arithmetic
gmake[1]: *** [tcpip.o] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/jrf/nmap'
gmake: *** [all] Error 2

Not sure what to make of it; I took a look and I'm wondering if this
is a gcc thing not netbsd perse.
here is the platform info:
Platform: NetBSD 5.99.11 NetBSD 5.99.11 (GENERIC) #0: Tue Apr 21
05:00:29 EDT 2009 root@:/usr/obj/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64
$ gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: x86_64--netbsd
Configured with: /usr/src/tools/gcc/../../gnu/dist/gcc4/configure
--enable-long-long --disable-multilib --enable-threads
--disable-symvers --build=x86_64-unknown-netbsd4.99.72
--host=x86_64--netbsd --target=x86_64--netbsd --enable-__cxa_atexit
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.1.3 20080704 prerelease (NetBSD nb2 20081120)

Thanks,
   Jay
