Hello

I have installed a month ago snort-mysql on ubuntu 9.04
I can tell you that with apt-get you can do it quite easy. The "hard" part
(was not that hard after all) comes at the time of configuring (apache, php,
mysql, creating dbs, adodb, acidbase, and so on).

Since that machine will act as an IDS plus security scanner with nessus I
decided to install Debian lenny and start from scratch with snort-mysql.
Again with apt-get plus a few configuration files and Snort is running ok.

Also you can search with Google "snort apache mysql acidbase ubuntu 9.04"
and see what it shows... =o)
