Hello All,
I`m new to the snort community. I want use snort as IDS/IPS. I
have a very basic question about snort and snort_inline. If we can use the
snort as IPS by compiling snort with option --enable-inline, whats the need
of having snort_inline?, which also does the same functionality of getting
packets from ip_queue module.
Sorry if this is already clarified some where in the list.
Thanks and Regards,
Suresh Babu
