I tell most of our customers about the Shomiti Century Tap. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you want, but you can tap any 10/100 Ethernet link passively. The tap is small, requires an external AC adapter and a power failure does not drop the link. Ron Gula Network Security Wizards
Hi...can anyone recommend a network tap device for listening to a switch interface? I have recently heard these devices would allow me to monitor inbound/outbound traffic for a switch. Also, if anyone is using one, I would like to know how it is working. Thanks. Mark W. Gandy
