Do you love the CLI? Do you hate the CLI? Would you -- or do you already -- enjoy a world where you never need to touch the CLI, to manage your network?

regardless of the configuration mechanism (cli / socket interface / web):

- configuration atomic commit
- configuration rollback
- config stack which supports direct A->B config changes without going through intermediate configuration stages - configuration idempotency (i.e. issuing the same command repeatedly does the same thing)

Without these, config management becomes non-deterministic and unscalable. There's only a tiny handful (3 maybe?) of NOS configuration mechanisms that I'm aware of that support all four. Configuration is hard.
