I have been reading the news group for a couple of months now, but have not 
taken the time to introduce myself. So here goes. . .

I work as the IT person in a small retail organization with only a T1 
Internet connection an NT and Linux Server and a dozen or so workstations. 
Most of the heavy hitting is done with the Linux box. We have a proprietary 
solution that requires the NT box. I also help a local ISP and moonlight 
for a medical office as their network manager.

At home I run RedHat 6.1 on a shared T1 (wireless) and have been involved 
in Linux for about 8 years. My Interests lie in firewall design and IDS 
systems for Linux. I have been the unwitting victim in times gone by of 
break ins. I have enjoyed immensely listening to this group. There is not a 
day goes by that someone doesn't scan or attempt to gain access to one of 
my sites.
