The short answer is: it depends.

If your users rely heavily on X and GitHub, performance may be poor. But if they mostly use services like Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, ChatGPT or LinkedIn, things tend to look much better.

You can try it out yourself using a really simple tool I wrote a while ago:

I'm running it now and I'm currently at roughly 20% IPv4 vs ~80% IPv6.
