Blind adherence to 10+ year old BCPs rather than current experience and
competence is a bad idea. And 1035 has had literally hundreds of more
current RFCs to clarify...

Also, when someone asks for a serious "is this still a good idea" and
someone just goes "BCP blah says", you're not adding to the discussion.
